The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) is implementing a program called `Moja Woda` (My Water), which provides funding for the construction of domestic rainwater and meltwater retention systems. The program was launched in June 2020 and will continue until the end of June 2024. There was no new call for applications last year, but it is known that a new edition will start this year. The exact date of the call's commencement is still unknown, but it is expected to happen in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Work is still underway on the program's regulations, and the final version will be confirmed with the launch of the Moja Woda 2023 program. In previous editions of the `Moja Woda` program, grants were awarded up to PLN 5,000 per project, but not exceeding 80% of the eligible installation costs. The minimum eligible amount was PLN 2,000.
The grant is intended for owners of single-family homes who want to install rainwater tanks on their property. The program funds can be used for the purchase, installation, construction, and commissioning of various rainwater retention systems, such as:
