The hydraulic manure scraper is a simple and reliable scraping system designed for open alleys in free-stall cow barns, pig houses and poultry houses. It can operate in extreme conditions, from very low to high temperatures. The scraper is driven by a quiet hydraulic power unit connected to hydraulic cylinders located in each channel. One hydraulic power unit can serve up to 6 scraper channels. The hydraulic cylinder drives a rail which, with a reciprocating motion, moves the scraper blade along the entire length of the channel. The scraper moves in steps and pauses for a few seconds so as not to stress the animals (they can easily step over it). The system is operated from an easy-to-use control panel. Each channel has its own timer and switch, and they can be programmed individually or in sequence. The scraper can also be set to stop at any point.
