The slurry aeration system has been developed as a highly efficient and environmentally friendly method of keeping slurry in a liquid state, always ready for use. Aeration is achieved by the gravitational movement of air bubbles. Supplying large amounts of oxygen results in intensive growth of aerobic bacteria, which break down toxins, fatty acids and ammonia. Slurry prepared in this way remains liquid at all times. Reduced fermentation means that the emitted gases contain much lower concentrations of hydrogen sulphide (H2S), ammonia (NH3) and other substances harmful to the environment. A properly designed installation can be adapted to any type of facility – both underground and above-ground tanks.
