Ridge skylights
Proper lighting in livestock buildings is an essential element needed for the proper rearing of animals. A well-designed skylight positively affects the welfare of animals while also limiting excessive increases in the animals' body temperature. Since livestock buildings generally do not have usable attics, it is possible to use ridge skylights at the top of the roof. The interior of the livestock building is then better illuminated (through roof windows, much more light enters than through windows in the walls of the same area).
